What educators are saying

This gave my students an opportunity to see a different set of careers in STEM. It gave them a different perspective.
I LOVE webquests! Since I teach STEM my class is in constant motion. This was a great ( and quiet) class period, and a great break for me. I highly recommend this product!

Description

ALL careers are STEM careers....and this webquest will help you see why! To begin, students will use Career In STEM Explorer resources to find salary, education, and description for 15 nontraditional STEM careers - welder, photographer, choreographer, and more! Students will then test their creative thinking skills by identifying two ways each career connects to science, technology, engineering, or math (using the online resources to help). Last, students will choose one of the careers profiled in the webquest and do a 'try it' activity - a fun way to test drive nontraditional STEM careers!

Purchase includes:

1. googleslides webquest - 15 Careers You Didnt Know Were STEM Careers! (36 slides with space for typing responses on each)

2. answer key for teachers (2 page googledoc linked on the last slide)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Use of the Career In STEM Explorer system is needed to complete this activity. Not an Explorer subscriber yet? Learn more about this must-have tool at Career In STEM Explorer.

100% distance learning friendly, 100% prep free, 100% fun! Will take at least one hour for students to complete independently. A great way to get students thinking outside the box and engaged in STEM career exploration.
