What educators are saying

These prompts are a great way to get my students writing and talking. I have used them as quick sticky note responses and in depth journal responses. My students look forward to the prompt of the day. Love this resource!
Great activity for my ESOL students. It is a non-threatening way for my students to communicate. We use these to have good "speaking" practice too.

These simple messages are a quick and easy way to have your students:
-Promote kindness in your classroom, school, and community
-Motivate and encourage their peers
-Think deeply about themselves and their learning
-Set goals and think about their future
-Reflect on their character, actions, and behavior

They are also a great tool for me to learn about my students and reflect on my own lessons and teaching practices. I can't tell you how many important things I've learned about my kiddos using these whiteboard messages in my classroom! Using these whiteboards has improved my classroom community immensely, and hopefully they will improve yours, too! :)

*You can display the PDF slides on your SmartBoard or projector, and the students can write underneath with the projector pen or a sticky note. The file is .pdf, with clickable hyperlinks for you to easily find the slides you need.
*Send your students the Google Drive version(s) and have them type their responses in there!
*Print out the Daily Journals and have your students complete the prompts as a morning warm up!
