What educators are saying

Students loved using these task cards with partners and small group. I liked this because it also helped students practice skip-counting by 10s then 1s without having to take out place value blocks.
Many students were confused about this skill and it helped tremendously to have a few small group activities to use.

Description

Addition task cards make a great alternative to worksheets. Two-digit addition with regrouping can be a challenging concept that requires hands-on practice using Base 10 blocks. These 2-digit addition task cards help students move from the concrete to abstract stage of understanding by providing the visual representation needed to begin internalizing the concept of double digit addition with regrouping.

These 2-digit addition task cards cover addition with sums to 100 and provide a fun alternative to boring worksheets. Whether used in a math center or as a whole class game of SCOOT, your students will love the fun, colorful format.
