Description

This Planning Christmas Math Project gets students practicing a wide variety of key math skills while working their way through a fun real-world scenario. Students will have a blast preparing for Christmas! They must shop for gifts, decorate the house and tree, bake gingerbread cookies, and much more!

There are two different versions of this project included: basic and advanced. While most activities are the same, the basic version supports 2nd grade math standards while the advanced version supports 3rd grade math standards. However, you could assign different versions to different students to best match their current skill level.

Skills covered:

Addition
Subtraction
Multiplication facts (advanced only)
Number patterns
Bar graphs
Telling time
Reading a calendar

This resource includes options for PRINT and DIGITAL (Google Slides).
