These are great! I needed something for the kids to review their skills and these are perfect. Thank you!
I love using this for morning work so students have something to do when they first walk in and keep in their folders if they don't finish as an early finish option later in the day

The LANGUAGE ARTS Daily Edit portion of each 2nd Grade Morning Work printable provides two sentences to be edited (using editing marks) and then rewritten correctly as edited.

It is more than just a simple "Fix the Sentence" activity. The sentences are designed to practice and spiral review the ELA Common Core Standards of editing, grammar usage, capitalization, punctuation, and spelling patterns.

The comprehensive daily editing increases in difficulty and becomes second nature over time, which helps to strengthen writing abilities in all areas.

The Daily Edit sentences are designed to follow second-grade weekly phonics, spelling, and grammar CCSS skills, as well as to teach writing editing skills.

The 2nd Grade Morning Work Math Review portion is designed to practice and spiral review ALL Second Grade Common Core Math Standards in a repetitive format that increases in difficulty over time, including 5 spiraling addition and/or subtraction facts on every page [See more details in the preview above].

    TEACHERS LIKE YOU SAID...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Clegg's Classroom says, "I LOVE this resource!!! I have my students do the sentences as their self-start for ELA and the math portion as their self-start for math. Even though it doesn't follow pace with my math program, it works so well to pre-teach skills and also re-teach things we've already done. It's quick so my students stay engaged and can get it done. It is aligned extremely well with the 2nd grade standards and has been perfect for my classroom!"

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tracy S. says, "Wow! The spiral review provided in this bundle was an awesome resource. Not only did it provide my students with a daily review of grade-level skills, it also gave me the opportunity to teach some of the skills our math curriculum fails to cover. The sheets are easy to understand and can be completed independently by students."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lori S. says, "This resource followed very true to ELA and Math CCSS. There were times that the math was a great front load for the next math lessons that I would be teaching which prompted mini-lessons. and the ELA portions followed my teachings and extended grammar lessons when we were writing. I used these for morning work and homework. I also used them for impromptu quizzes to see how formatively they were doing on my daily lessons. Ideal bundle and used them every day! Extremely satisfied."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kelli B. says, "I used this every day, all year! It followed our curriculum in math, reading and language arts! I would STRONGLY recommend this!"
