What educators are saying

My students LOVE knockout. They beg to play it all the time. It is the perfect resource to get us through the rest of the school year.
The kids loved this activity! We used it help break up the monotony of our State Test review. The kids enjoyed the friendly competition and getting up and moving and cheering each other on. Thank you!

Description

Are you looking for a fun and exciting way to do end of the year math review in your 3rd grade classroom? Look no further than Knockout, an action-packed math game that will keep your children moving and thinking! With this thrilling game, students can review their 3rd grade math skills like area, perimeter, and comparing fractions without even realizing they are learning. Players who are first to answer the question correctly can eliminate other players from the game - all while having a blast! Get ready to experience pure excitement as you watch your children enjoy pure educational FUN with Knockout!

A QUICK LOOK AT KNOCKOUT & HOW IT IS PLAYED

1⃣ - Divide your class into 2 single file lines

2⃣ - Display the first slide

3⃣ - The player at the front of his/her line faces off against the player from the other team: the first player to answer his/her question correctly wins and returns to the end of the line!

4⃣ - The player who does not win goes to sit on the team "bench" to cheer on the team!

BUT WAIT: That's not all.

If a player faces these slides, the following could happen:

✅ Double Free Pass: Both players automatically get to stay in the game!

✅ Double Knockout™: Both players are automatically out!

✅ Knockout™/Free Pass: One player leaves, one stays!

✅ Pick a Pal: Choose a player from the bench to return to the game!

This was a great resource for my class! I found it engaging and so did the students. It was very age appropriate and easily adaptable.

After playing, my students asked EVERY DAY to play again. I think the same game could be played more than once even for the same class. It was a great end-of-the-year review and was engaging, and fostered team building too! Thank you!

★★★★★

— Caitlin C.

We used this as a fun and engaging way to review for our end of year test. My students absolutely LOVE playing Knockout and it encourages them to be sharp on their math skills. They want to do well and get the math right to help out their team.
