What educators are saying
Thank you for creating an easy-to-use, engaging, fun resource for students. It saved lots of time in planning and creating. I love alternative ways to teach ELA skills.
I love these reminders of the syllable types, especially as Indiana standards focused more specifically on syllable types in the latest updates.
Description
Printable Syllable type posters / anchor charts for your Science of Reading classroom. I keep them displayed in the front of my classroom, as well as on a ring at my small group table. These allow me to use explicit, consistent language when referring to the types of syllables.
These posters follow the 6 syllable types (CLOVER- which include diphthongs in with the vowel team syllable) There are 2 versions within the file to pick from- a letter tile version, and phoneme-grapheme mapped version
Bonus file: Supporting notebook style pages with examples of each syllable type for a low-prep Bulletin Board to use all year!
