What educators are saying

This resource is very detailed and comprehensive. There is everything in there that you need to teach for a particular concept. I liked the vocabulary part because it helped my ELL students. Thank you for sharing a great product.
This is an excellent resource for a self-contained teacher with little 8th grade math knowledge! The notes were very easy to follow and teach. The kids liked them much more than the common core modules. Thank you!

    WHAT ARE TEACHERS SAYING?

My students hate taking notes and this resource allows students to choose how they take their notes. I love being able to differentiate notes.

These notes have made my life so much easier. I project a copy with the document camera and we fill in together as a class. The sets are well aligned with our standards and text books.

My students like using the guided notes better than the guided notes provided through our new textbooks. The units are very concise and follow the 2019 Alabama Math standards! Awesome resource for students who struggle with attention to task and those that struggle to follow along!

Understand that a two-dimensional figure is congruent to another if the second can be obtained from the first by a sequence of rotations, reflections, and translations; given two congruent figures, describe a sequence that exhibits the congruence between them.
Describe the effect of dilations, translations, rotations, and reflections on two-dimensional figures using coordinates.
Understand that a two-dimensional figure is similar to another if the second can be obtained from the first by a sequence of rotations, reflections, translations, and dilations; given two similar two-dimensional figures, describe a sequence that exhibits the similarity between them.
Use informal arguments to establish facts about the angle sum and exterior angle of triangles, about the angles created when parallel lines are cut by a transversal, and the angle-angle criterion for similarity of triangles. For example, arrange three copies of the same triangle so that the sum of the three angles appears to form a line, and give an argument in terms of transversals why this is so.
Explain a proof of the Pythagorean Theorem and its converse.
