What educators are saying

I used this during a book study with my students and it was very helpful. I loved how it was laid out with the different areas to cover.
This was a great unit to use with my students. I like that there was both a print and digital option! I gave the kids the choice of which they wanted to use and they were thankful for the choice.

Our approach is to take one common core standard and teach it heavily through 3 chapters. All writing questions, anchor charts, mini lessons, and activities are based on this standard and completed in a notebook that is collected on test day for review. The children are then given 2 short quizzes (provided). One tests reading comprehension of the book and the other tests the standard they have been learning.

A Long Walk To Water is in our opinion the most powerful book we have ever read with our students. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have!
