What educators are saying

I have been using these as warm ups at the beginning of class. Great practice and review for my classes.
I used these cards to review and practice before our state testing. These were very helpful for my students.

Description

HUGE DISCOUNT! Enclosed you will find 7 sets of Equation task cards. There are 30 cards in each set, so that's 210 task cards! These are CCSS aligned and so easy to use with your students!

With this bundle you pay $1.00 a set! These cards cover solving equations concepts for one and two step equations using inverse operations. Each set is labeled Set A through Set G and include a student recording sheet and answer keys for all sets.

So easy for you to differentiate for your students.

Included you will find:

Set A - Add & Subtract Whole Numbers with variables

Set B - Add & Subtract Decimals with variables

Set C - Add & Subtract Fractions with variables

Set D - Multiply & Divide Whole Numbers with variables

Set E - Multiply & Divide Decimals with variables

Set F - Multiply & Divide Fractions with variables

Set G - Add & Subtract Whole Numbers Involving Exponents with variables

Students will solve one and two-step equations using inverse operations.

CCSS INCLUDE:

6.EE.A.1

6.EE.A.2

6.EE.B.7

7.EE.B.3

7.EE.B.4

These cards are great as bell-ringers, for math centers, independent practice, Scoot, whole class and group activities, intervention, tutoring, and test prep, etc.

Write and evaluate numerical expressions involving whole-number exponents.
Write, read, and evaluate expressions in which letters stand for numbers.
Solve real-world and mathematical problems by writing and solving equations of the form 𝘹 + 𝘱 = 𝘲 and 𝘱𝘹 = 𝘲 for cases in which 𝘱, 𝘲 and 𝘹 are all nonnegative rational numbers.
Solve multi-step real-life and mathematical problems posed with positive and negative rational numbers in any form (whole numbers, fractions, and decimals), using tools strategically. Apply properties of operations to calculate with numbers in any form; convert between forms as appropriate; and assess the reasonableness of answers using mental computation and estimation strategies. For example: If a woman making $25 an hour gets a 10% raise, she will make an additional 1/10 of her salary an hour, or $2.50, for a new salary of $27.50. If you want to place a towel bar 9 3/4 inches long in the center of a door that is 27 1/2 inches wide, you will need to place the bar about 9 inches from each edge; this estimate can be used as a check on the exact computation.
Use variables to represent quantities in a real-world or mathematical problem, and construct simple equations and inequalities to solve problems by reasoning about the quantities.
