AP Spanish Literature Units 1-8 Complete Unit Materials

I love teaching AP Spanish Lit. It's the best part of my day every day. however, I have always felt bad for the students. There is so much they need to know and so many places they have to go to get it. After ten years of teaching the class I have finally been able to put Unit packets that have everything they need in one place. This packet really should have everything you need to teach the entire unit. It includes:

• Unit essential questions
• Page long descriptions of literary eras and movements
• Author information including biography, photo/painting, origin, century, and era
• Warm-up/Connection questions
• Themes
• Contexts of the work
• A work of art to compare
• Literary terms with definitions. Examples aren't given for literary devices. Students have room to write examples.
• Character and setting graphic organizer
• Multiple-choice comprehension questions that I did my best to level with the AP test. Don quijote, burlador, Lazarillo, and Bernarda Alba do not have these as I have found there to be little comprehension. Instead I included summaries of each section in modern Spanish.
• Basic graphic organizer for the work
• Free response question that I also did my best to level with the AP test.

I print these double sided, hole punched, and double stapled and they serve as a great workbook/textbook. This is sure to have some mistakes, missed accent marks, or to lack something that you find essential. Sorry in advance. How nice for you that it's an editable google doc.
