Description

This activity is made for the novice to the intermediate American Sign Language student. Documents are set up for the study of classifier handshapes 5, 3, 4, V, F, C, B, and L. But the great thing about this activity is that it can be changed up to work with any classifier study including DCLs, ICLs, BCL,s and more. Change the handshapes to Include in your units of study for clothing, room arrangement, descriptions of objects and more. Use as an interactive notebook activity or as an addition to your classifier teaching. Classifier activities can also be used as a sub day lesson plan or a homework assignment.

Activity includes:

- Definition flip chart for notebook
- Blank definition pages
- Handshape images to be used on flip chart or cut and pasted for definitions
- Envelope template and assembly instructions
- Images for sorting
- Prompt cards for sentence creations using classifier handshapes
