Description

I am so excited to bring you another fun holiday activity that will engage your students and tests their wit. This product comes with a packet that has everything the teacher will need in order to host the escape room with NO PREP. Inside the packet is a link to a website students will access in order to solve clues and escape.

The escape room contains clues using cultural information about dinner table syndrome in the Deaf community. There are articles, videos, and puzzles for students to research and analyze in order to solve the clues while learning more about Deaf culture. This is appropriate for all levels of ASL.

This escape room is perfect for digital (online) or live classroom play.

Included in the PDF:

  • A link to the digital webpage
  • Student note-taking sheet (two versions)
  • An answer key
  • Directions for each clue

This activity can be played

- as individuals

- in small groups

- with a partner

This is a great activity for Google or ZOOM breakout rooms.

This activity requires students to have access to a device.
