What educators are saying
Description
This vocabulary activity encourages students to make connections between various accounting vocabulary words and concepts.
Activity steps include:
- Defining vocabulary words.
- Making connections between words/concepts with a group.
- Sharing, explaining, and asking questions about connections.
- Reflecting individually.
I use this with that chapter in the book that has SO many vocab words - you know the one! However, it can be used right from the beginning of the course and students can continue to add to it whenever new words are introduced. After it has been done once with your class, it would even work as an any time sub plan!
