What educators are saying

Very fun activity for my students, especially the last puzzle where they have to find the answers around the room. There is one error with the cards for the last part. There are two "1/2" cards which I didn't realize until my students couldn't figure out which word to choose.
Was a great review for my students. My fault that I didn't read the description carefully enough to realize the worksheet didn't include any mixed numbers. I was able to edit the last page / cards to make a mixed number practice page. Kept my 6th graders busy and engaged!

Add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators (including mixed numbers) by replacing given fractions with equivalent fractions in such a way as to produce an equivalent sum or difference of fractions with like denominators. For example, 2/3 + 5/4 = 8/12 + 15/12 = 23/12. (In general, 𝘢/𝘣 + 𝘤/𝘥 = (𝘢𝘥 + 𝘣𝘤)/𝘣𝘥.)
