This paper chain activity is designed to strengthen students’ skills in Multiplying, Dividing, Adding and Subtracting Fractions and Decimals.

Concepts Included

How It Works

  • Students start at the “Start” link and will find the next link in the chain by solving the problem on the “Start” link and finding the answer on the next link. Students will continue to build the chain in this manner until they reach the 20th link which is the “Stop” link.
  • This self-checking activity is a wonderful hands-on activity that is sure to engage students!
  • Answer key is included. Each link is numbered which makes this activity easy to check by checking the correct order of the links.
