Age of Absolutism & Wars of Religion Unit Bundle - Print & Digital

This bundle has a lot for you to use in a High School World History or (AP) European History course when covering the Age of Absolutism. I have numerous materials for you to pick from. I do not have a formal unit calendar with this as I know that teachers have different pacing based on the type of World History or European History course you are teaching. I typically have 2 weeks for my Absolutism unit.

Materials:

PowerPoint and Note Sheet: This bundle has 2 PowerPoint presentations. One covers the Age of Absolutism and the other covers the War of Religions. Both come with a note sheet to give to the students.

Test and Study Guide: The test has matching, multiple choice, and essay questions. It comes with an answer key. There is also a study guide to help students prepare for the test and a jeopardy review game.

KIM Vocabulary: 4 pages of vocabulary terms for the students to fill-out in the KIM format.

Projects:

• Timeline project has students create a timeline and write 1-2 sentences about each item.
• Academic Poster Project for the students to create a presentation using a 3 ply cardboard presentation board.
• Debate and Research Paper with specific topics for the students to pick from. Rubric and grading checklist included.
• Group Presentation Project on the leaders of the Age of Absolutism.

Quick Reads: 1 page readings with questions to help students learn the material.

Movie Guide: True and False video guide on the story of Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots and a video guide, "The Ascent of Money" explaining the finances of France.
