What educators are saying

Thank you for creating this. It has been challenging to find these kinds of resources for this topic and it's just what I needed!
I was able to assign students online with this, which was great since I was kind of behind with that the last school year. But also students who did not have computers, I was able to give them a paper copy, so that came in handy.

Description

Age of Absolutism | Absolute Rulers | 3 Activities to teach Absolute Monarchs!

This resource is included in the Age of Absolutism Unit Bundle located here!

In this hands-on resource on the Age of Absolutism, you receive three resources to learn about the famed absolute monarchs of this area, including King Henry VIII, King Louis XIV, King Philp II, Peter the Great, Maria Theresa, Ivan the Terrible, Charles I, and James I. In this first resource, students complete text stations and complete a jigsaw matrix to learn about Henry VIII, Louis XIV, Philip II, and Peter the Great. Then, an optional web quest activity is included for students to navigate and record information regarding Maria Theresa, Ivan the Terrible, Charles I, and James I. A third activity is included to culminate student learning by awarding a "best of the worst" and a "worst of the worst" prize to the monarchs of their choosing (based on what students have learned).

This resource included both a traditional and Google 1:1 version designed for distance learning.
