Algebra 2 / Pre - Calculus Spaghetti Noodle Sine Curves

Students will use what they’ve learned about sinusoidal functions to create a sine curve out of uncooked spaghetti noodles and string. They will come up with an equation of a sine function with a period other than , a horizontal shift, and a vertical shift. They will graph at least one period for their sine curve. The graph will include at least 13 plotted points. This is a fun, engaging, and different way for students to share their knowledge of graphing sine functions. A scoring rubric is included.
