Description
This is a daily warm up calendar math activity that I have my students complete as the bell rings for class to begin.
When the students enter the classroom, they have 3 minutes (with the timer given on each slide) to copy down the night's homework assignment and complete the 3 warm up problems. Problems are completed on a calendar (that I will have posted soon for next year!).
The problems are all spiral review and should be able to be completed in the time given. Problems are done in such a way that each day there is at least one thought provoking problem that can be discussed.
I have my students lead the instruction for the warm up and are at the screen writing in answers.
