Amazing Animals Promethean Board Flipchart- Journeys: ir,er,ur words, dictionary skills, conclusions, I & me

10 flipchart pages of interactive skill practice!!!! Created using ActivInspire…To be used on a Promethean Board. This flipchart can be used as a center where students can work with buddies without teacher assistance or it can be used as a whole group lesson. This flipchart goes along with Journeys Unit 5 story, Amazing Animals. It has an -ir, -er, ur word sort to help students learn their spelling words and read other words with the same letter patterns. Story sight words are reviewed. Pronouns I and me are introduced. Dictionary skills are introduced, including what is an entry word, and where to find words in a dictionary. Practice is provided for vocabulary word definitions. Drawing conclusions is reviewed. My kids love the interactive activities and coming up to the whiteboard to engage in learning activities.
