Ambulation and Assistive Devices Lab Stations

Have crutches, walkers, and/or canes in storage that you'd like to put to use? This set of handouts guides students through FOUR stations:

• posture
• walking gait
• crutch fitting and use
• walker/cane fitting and use

Students will be asked to read and research using suggested resources or their own before trying different movements/devices and then reflecting on their experiences.
