Description
This package includes a detailed outline of what is expected in a complete Ancient Civilizations report and presentation - whether it is meant to be the "big" project during the final term of Social Studies class or merely a month-long individual project.
Given the choice of China, Rome, Greece, Egypt or India, students will write a report on the government system, social structure, inventions, communication, climate, landscape and conclude with a comparison of modern day Canada or the United States.
Part two of the assignment is to prepare an Oral presentation to describe to the class what was discovered using props as visual aids.
This project has been designed so that it can be done in pairs, groups or individually.
Included in the package is detailed rubric to cover both the written report and the oral presentation.
