What educators are saying

The word wall is a fantastic resource for my classroom! The students frequently reference the word wall during assignments to support their understanding!
This is a wonderful word wall! It looks great in my room and the definitions are very basic and easily readable from across the room. My students love to see new words as we learn about more civilizations added and use it throughout our units to refer back to!

    Description

This Ancient Civilizations Word Wall bundle includes a total of 314 cards for Prehistory, Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, Ancient India, Ancient Israel, Ancient China, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, the Middle Ages, Mesoamerican Civilizations, African Empires, and some general Social Studies terms! Save over 30% by purchasing them together!

Use this bundle to help reinforce your vocabulary instruction for diverse learners by allowing students to repeatedly engage with definitions and images of key terms from each unit. You can display individual target words for a specific lesson, hang up a complete set as a reference tool, or even build a growing word wall so students can visualize their accumulating knowledge throughout the year!

Editable Google Slideshows have been included with all of the words and images! If you like, edit the definitions, pictures, or even the words themselves, and present the words to your students or post on Google Classroom!

These cards are available in both a color version and a (mostly) black and white version. These easy-to-read cards are ready to print and display in your classroom!

All cards include the word itself, the definition, and a historical image or photograph to help your visual learners better understand the word. The cards come two to a page, which means the dimensions of each card are about 5 inches tall and 8 inches wide (assuming you cut off the white border on the edge of the page).

All of the resources in this bundle will go directly to your TpT Purchases folder of your Google Drive account after completing your purchase. If you have any technical issues, reach out to us at mrandmrssocialstudies@gmail.com or contact TPT.
