In this Ancient Greece government resource, students read about the four major government styles that characterized the ancient Greeks - monarchy, oligarchy, tyranny, and democracy. Students are introduced to key figures like Solon, Agamemnon, Philip I, Alexander the Great, and Dionysios. Students also learn about modern-day connections, such as the 13 Colonies, North Korea, and Russia. In each handout, students will learn about the form of government, how it was practiced in ancient Greece, and how it is practiced today. Four videos are also included (via weblink) to highlight the different styles of government. Now, a new optional PowerPoint presentation is included at no additional charge!
