Description

Animal Farm is an allegorical novel by George Orwell published in England on 17 August 1945. According to Orwell the book reflects events leading up to the Russian Revolution of 1917, and then on into the Stalin era in the Soviet Union. This movie guide helps the students stay focused on the main ideas of the movie. It also helps students understand the characters in the animal farm and their allegorical equivalents (Old Major = Karl Marx, etc.). This movie guide comes with an answer key.
