    Description

Incorporate science, math, and writing with these engaging Animal Groups Pattern Block Puzzles and Worksheets.

*ALL of these puzzles are to scale and will fit on 8.5 by 11 sized printer paper/mats.

Each animal has two puzzle versions; easy and hard (with the exception of the spider). The easy puzzles shows what blocks to use and are great for Pre-K and Kindergarten. The harder puzzles only have the outline and are better suited for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Graders. You can even use the answer key puzzles for students that need extra assistance. Print on white 8.5 by 11 paper and laminate for durability. Black line pattern block pieces as well as colored pattern block pieces are provided. Colored answer keys (with watermarks) are also included. These watermarks are necessary to protect my work from copyright infringement.

    • The Mammal Puzzles are a kangaroo, a koala, a dolphin, a boy and a girl.

    • The Reptiles and Amphibian Puzzles are a snake, a lizard, a alligator and a frog.

    • The Insects Puzzles are a butterfly, a caterpillar, a dragonfly, a ladybug, a spider and an ant.

    • The Bird Puzzles are an eagle, a macaw, a flamingo and a peacock.

    • The Ocean Animal Puzzles are a sea horse, sting ray, jelly fish, octopus and a crab.

NOW INCLUDING...supplemental worksheets that your students can complete for each puzzle. Each printable worksheet will allow your students to practice tracing the puzzle word, count each pattern block used to complete the puzzle, and make a comparison of the amount of shapes used.

Here is the breakdown of what's included:

    • 23 Hard Puzzles with fun fact
