Animal Sounds LITTLE INTERACTIVE BOOK

This is a download for you to print and assemble in to a valuable tool you can use over and over again, similar to a file folder game in book format. This book reviews the sounds that different animals make. Each page has a simple sentence empty spots for a picture of the correct animal. A selection board is placed in the back of the book and can be removed. The board holds the images of 9 different animals. The child chooses the correct picture that matches the sound and pulls it off the selection board and places it on the page. The child can then “read” the sentence.

The Little Interactive Books can be used to teach and reinforce new concepts, to teach a child to combine words to make a meaningful sentence, to teach pre-literacy skills such as turning pages, reading from left to right and reading one word at a time. These books work great for 2 and 3 year old children that are developing typically, or as an independent activity for 4 year olds.

They are also perfect for children with delays, a speech or language impairment or autism to sequence 2 or 3 words together. The books are very motivating and the children will love the interaction as they read the story.

This Little Interactive Book, when finished is 5 ½” X 8 ½”. This book can be used with one child or a small group. This is a perfect size for little people to hold, turn pages and “read”.
