Arctic animals mini-unit! This Arctic animal unit is a great way to introduce research projects to your kindergarten or first grade students. Students will learn the names of 18 Arctic animals and vote for 4 Arctic animals to study more in-depth. Students will practice writing, comprehension, discussion, voting, and collaborating with others. At the end of the 5 day unit, student will create a diorama displaying their new knowledge of a specific Arctic animal.
