What educators are saying

We used these Australian animal outlines for an art lesson when we were learning about Indigenous painting techniques.

Description

This set includes hand-drawn outlines of 11 Australian animals (each A4 size):

Platypus

Wombat

Snake

Kangaroo

Goanna

Echidna

Crocodile

Koala

Bilby

Emu

Lyrebird

These outlines could be used for a variety of purposes and would make great templates for indigenous dot paintings or other art work. They could be used to inspire creative writing or used alongside a scientific report.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PAINTED VERSIONS IN THE PHOTO ARE EXAMPLES. THIS SET INCLUDES BLANK OUTLINES ONLY.

NAIDOC (National Aboriginal and Islanders Day Observance Committee) Week is an Australian observance lasting from the first Sunday in July until the following Sunday.

NAIDOC Week celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
