    Description

This bundle combines CELF-5 Auto-populating Paragraphs - Strengths/Weaknesses (5-8 years old) and CELF-5 Auto-populating Paragraphs - Strengths/Weaknesses (9-21 years old) for the ultimate time saving package!

These google sheet are designed to speed up the report writing process for the CELF-5. To use these google sheets, you have to fill in your student's information and their scaled/standard scores plus their percentile ranks. The google sheet will automatically provide the classification (i.e. average, low, very low, etc) in the table for you. It is taken directly from the CELF-5 manual.

Additionally, there is a second sheet where you will put Xs where your student demonstrated strengths/weaknesses. Paragraphs will be automatically created for you and appear on the first tab as well.

The google sheet will write a summary statement including the student's scores. Please see an example below.

The Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals-Fifth Edition (CELF-5) was administered on 01/10/2024 to assess John's receptive and expressive language skills. The average range for subtests is 8-12. The following scores are based on John's responses during testing.

John's language scores from the CELF-5 fell in the average to borderline/marginal/at risk range when compared to same-aged peers. John demonstrated a relative strength in his expressive language skills (RLI 82 , ELI 83).

John was successful with the following tasks: following 1-step directions without orientation terms, 2-step directions without orientation terms, 1-step directions with serial order/orientation terms, and 2-step directions with serial order/orientation terms (FD 5), creating grammatically correct sentences with nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, coordinating conjunctions (i.e. and, but), and subordinating conjunctions (i.e. until, unless) (FS 8), repeating sentences without changing words (RS 10), answering questions about paragraphs read aloud (USP 8), describing given words with adequate details (WD 8), unscrambling jumbled sentences to create two grammatically correct sentences without adding additional words (SA 5), and answering questions with comparisons (i.e. longer, younger), and with spatial information (i.e. under, next to) (SR 5).

John had difficulty with the following tasks: identifying two pictures with similarities, and two words with similarities out of a list of four spoken words (WC 3), following 3-step directions without orientation terms, 4-step directions without orientation terms, 3-step directions with serial order/orientation terms, and 4-step directions with serial order/orientation terms (FD 5), and answering questions with temporal information (i.e. math is first, followed by science), with sequential information (i.e. the 17th is before the 16th), and that are expressed in the passive voice (i.e. Jan saw Pedro. Who was seen?) (SR 5).

Based on the results from the CELF-5, informal speech/language sample, and teacher input, John demonstrates borderline/marginal/at risk expressive language skills and borderline/marginal/at risk receptive language skills when compared to same-age peers (CELF-5 CLS 78, RLI 82, ELI 83, LCI 86, LMI 78, WC 3, FD 5, FS 8, RS 10, USP 8, WD 8, SA 5, SR 5).

    Tips

    • When copying and pasting the paragraphs into your report, use Control + Shift + V and that will paste without formatting and match the formatting of your current Google Doc or Word Document. Another way to paste without formatting is to right click and tap "Paste and Match Style".
    • This sheet will allow you to put Xs in multiple columns so make sure you're putting the appropriate X in the right box on the strengths/weaknesses tab.

TPT automatically duplicates the original Google Sheets document to your Google Drive. Access to the original master template cannot be provided. If you encounter a request for access to the original document instead of an option to duplicate the template into your Google Drive, this is likely due to security settings on your account. This may be attributed to your connection via a school or work network, or your email account, as some corporate security configurations prohibit copying documents originating from external sources. If you are receiving this message while using a personal email account and a home network, it is possible that your own security settings are preventing the duplication of the document.
