    Description

This is a huge bundle of engaging activities for back-to-school. As teachers, we know just how important community and team building are, but sometimes we are at a loss to find engaging activities that connect our students. If you are stuggling to find the time to get activities together for back-to-school, look no further! This bundle includes 7 of my back-to-school activities that are sure to be both engaging and fun while getting students talking, creating, and sharing together.

    This resource includes the following:

Back to School Digital Team Building Activity for Upper Elementary:

This is a digital product that includes six numbered questions per slide. In small groups, students will each roll a die and answer the corresponding question. There is the option to add your own questions with an editable slide that can be duplicated to create however many slides you would like.

Back to School Icebreaker: This or That:

This is also a digital product. It includes slides that give students a forced choice (this or that). Students move to the side of the room that best describes them. Again, this one has a set of slides with it that are fully editable to add in your own questions.

Back to School Team Building Activity: Making Comparisons:

This is a compare and contrast project that students will complete in small groups of 2-4 classmates. Students will work through a checklist of statements to see what they have in common. The commonalities will be written in the center of their poster and each student will write some of their differences in a rectangular shape on the poster. Once the poster is filled out, students each draw and write the name of one other student from the group. Those drawings get glued beside the retangle that describes that student. These make a great display and students will continue to look at the posters from other teams to find out who they have something in common with. Comes with both blackline and full color options.

Back to School Teambuilding Activity: 4 Corners

Four corners is an activity that will have students up out of their seats answering questions and sharing with classmates. This is an easy prep activity. This is a print and go resource. You will find both full color and blackline options.

Back to School Teambuilding Activity: Dice Conversations:

Students will just need a print out and two dice for each team to do this team building activity. Simply roll and find the corresponding question. Take turns rolling and answering in small groups. It's the perfect way to learn about your classmates.

    Art Back to School Teambuilding:

This is similar to some of the cooking shows on TV. Groups of students are given a bag filled with the same art supplies. Each group has a certain amount of time to create an art project using all of the supplies that have been given them. It's a perfect way to gamify your class from the start!

Me Myselfie and I Back to School Writing Activity and Bulletin Board:

This is a fun activity that can also double as a bulletin board display when the activity is over. There are three different activities to choose from (all about me, two truths and a lie, and paragraph about me). Students will each get one foldable with a picture and their name on the front (the names are editable). There are many multicultural faces in both male and female included. After the activity, create a bulletin board that says, "Oh snap! What a picture perfect class!"
