Do you want your students to understand that Math is relevant? Do you want your students to realize that they will actually need math skills for their jobs one day? Then this is the perfect project!
Using the example job profile I've provided along with the easy-to-follow instructions, your students will use real job search engines to investigate careers that require math skills.
Follow up, reflection questions are provided on the last page of the document. Good for a variety of ages, this short project will take at least an hour to complete. A second period of sharing, discussing, and reflecting could follow. This is a great end-of-semester project. Enjoy!
