Description

This is an awesome NO-PREP Virtual Lesson for students to learn about the effects of alcohol consumption on their brain and behavior.

Students will graph the results of a virtual blood alcohol test, and use the results to extrapolate information about the number of standard drinks that a person can have before reaching the legal limit of intoxication. Students will also learn about the parts of the brain that are affected by alcohol and review how teenage brains can be damaged with binge drinking. By the end of the lesson, students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and calculate their own blood alcohol concentration (BAC) based on the number of standard drinks consumed.
