Description
This includes all three Brand Me lessons. 54 class days of activities for and Art, Business, FACS or CTE class.
Lesson #1 in our Brand Me Series is Logo Design.
In this hands-on project, students will use drawing skills and graphic design software to develop a two-letter logo design and vinyl-cut sticker, as well as business cards and letterhead. Learning concepts include: thumbnail design sketches, scale, balance, form, typography, color theory and more.
Lesson #2 in our Brand Me Series is Mind Map / Rockstar Banners.
Those first few weeks are tough trying to get to know the students. They are developing drawing and graphic communication skills. Mind Mapping is a way for them to discover who they are and what visuals communicate that. Students will draw their profile and then fill it with ten things that define them, including hobbies, activities, interests, family and events in their lives.
Rockstar Banners can hang from your classroom ceiling for the first few months as a reminder of what your students have to offer. They can look up and see their name and design in the rafters like real rockstars.
Learning concepts include: Typography, composition, limited color palette, printing press, client needs, Market Value Assets and Graphic Design software.
Lesson #3 in our Brand Me Series is Marketing Coasters.
In this hands-on project, students will design and manufacture epoxy resin or wood coasters with hand-drawn or vinyl-cut stickers.
Learning concepts include: CNC, vector, manufacturing, cost, market, epoxy resin, customization, inventory, complementary and mold.
