Brexit

With “Brexit” being such a hot topic of conversation at the moment, it’s hard to avoid an issue of such historic importance which could have long lasting implications for us all. This revised and updated 28-poster pack is an attempt to explain a complex issue in a way that pupils might be able to understand.

This poster pack attempts to explain all of the terminology and jargon that pupils are hearing in the media on a daily basis: Brexit, Hard Brexit, Soft Brexit, Single Market, Article 50, Backstop, Hard Border.

It also details six options as to what might happen next in the Brexit issue. These options could lead to some discussion among pupils.

With this being such a fluid issue at the moment, and with events changing almost daily, this was the best summary that I could come up with to explain to pupils what Brexit means at the present juncture.
