This packet features four articles written in English that explain the statistics and benefits of being bilingual. Each article includes comprehension questions after and a culminating essay.

After reading each article and answering questions, students will write an essay in which they convince others why they should learn Spanish.

2. La Tomatina: Reading & Activities

This packet includes reading passages and activities about the history and facts of La Tomatina. The reading includes three articles with questions and a crossword puzzle that follows.

3. Machu Picchu: Reading Activities & Sub Plan

This is a reading passage about the history and facts of Machu Picchu. The reading includes three articles with comprehension questions and a crossword puzzle that follow.

4. San Fermin Running of the Bulls Reading & Activities

This packet includes three reading passages and activities about the history and facts about the San Fermin festival (Running of the Bulls) in Spain. It includes a crossword puzzle that uses information from the text.
