Feedback from teachers who have used these CER practice sheets in classrooms:
- Print and go! It was so easy, and there are SO many options for you to pick from. It was great to introduce this, and then I'll come back to some of the other prompts as a review with practice later in the year! I've taught CER for the last 5 years, and this, by far, was the most effective and engaging resource for doing so!
- My students used this product to practice writing CER in science. We used it during whole group lessons, small groups, and independent work.
- I used this to introduce claims, evidence, and reasoning with my 5th graders. They thought it was so fun and engaging! They really understood. Thank you so much!
- SO HELPFUL! I really enjoyed using this with my students. They liked the different approaches to the CER information (like reading or watching a video), and they were quite engaged!
