What educators are saying

Loved how many different activities were included in this pack. It was super helpful and a comprehensive pack to help cover the topic of chance and probability.

Description

This activity pack includes a variety of activities for you to use when teaching chance and probability using the language of will happen, might happen, will not happen and likely, unlikely and impossible. The resources include:

  • Chance booklet where students cut along the dotted lines and draw and write about an event that will happen, might happen, will not happen (Or likely, unlikely, impossible). There are 7 font options and 1 with dotted thirds and one plain without lines to select from.

  • What is the chance cut and paste activity. Students read the situations and stick them into the correct column.

  • Write and draw an event that is likely, unlikely and impossible or will happen, will not happen, might happen.

  • Gumball chance craft- a variety of differentiated gum ball crafts you can use in your classroom. This makes for a very colourful maths display and can be used as an assessment piece at the completion of a unit. It includes both 10 and 20 ball chance templates, 5x differentiated worksheets to go with gumball displays, white balls for students to colour and coloured balls for students to cut and paste. Instructions are included. It also includes the recording templates in NSW, QLD, Sassoon, SA, TAS, Kindy and Vic Cursive, making it perfect for a display.
