CREATE A MURDER MYSTERY PARTY | LAW STUDENT PROJECT

This Murder Mystery Party project is a fun way for students to implement their learning of law concepts in a unique and engaging way. Students will develop critical thinking skills as they creatively come up with a victim, crime, storyline, characters, and more! This project supplies everything that students need to be successful, all they need is their creative thinking skills. This project is perfect for a criminal law or business law class.

The project is designed for the students to complete it as a “clue game” for the entire class. It’s highly encouraged to use all names of the students in the class for characters. Students can create their Murder Mystery on a provided Google Slide if they wish. However, students can design their materials on Canva and implement some marketing concepts if they’d like.

Duration:

This project takes students roughly ONE week to complete everything. If the class plays the projects as a party/game, this could be up to TWO weeks.

***Disclaimer: If you haven't gone through Canva.com with your students before, you may want to look at doing that before implementing this lesson. I have my marketing students do multiple lessons on Canva.com, so they are comfortable at this point to complete this activity.
