Description

CVC task cards that use Sign Language are a fun engaging way to help your students learn decoding skills.

Most often deaf and hard of hearing students struggle with being exposed to and using a robust vocabulary. IT IS SO IMPORTANT that students are able to first IDENTIFY a word or picture, before they are asked to decode. For this reason, I ensure that, especially early on, children have access to EVERYTHING that will help them understand a word.

These cvc task cards include

  • Sign Language
  • Fingerspelling
  • A picture of the word
  • opportunity to print the English letters

Your students will love building these CVC words while having full access to the vocabulary rather than just building words they are not familiar with.

Included

  • 160 CVC words on individual task cards
  • Short a, e, i, o, u words
  • differentiated characters to represent a diverse population
  • Answer key
