TEACHERS LIKE YOU SAID…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This resource is amazing! I would recommend it to any new teachers or anyone looking to add creative assignments to their courses. Lots of engaging material that keeps my students interested in Canadian history!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️When paired with the same author's civics course, this has everything necessary to teach the new BC Socials 10. As a teacher new to teaching socials this was a lifesaver!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Absolutely unreal bundle! Please create more for Senior History Courses!

What's included:

  • There are 5 engaging units: World War One, the 20s and 30s, World War Two, the Post-War Era and Years of Change, plus exam resources. The course has been updated to reflect the ministry of education's requirement for "observation and conversation."

  • I used these materials for online learning during Covid and it went very well. The paperless packages are a great option for students. In addition, I allowed kids to complete a printed version of the package and then send it to me as a scanned pdf. using a scanning app ("Microsoft Lens," and, "Adobe Scan," work great - much better than receiving pictures of their work).

  • Very clear and easy to follow answer keys!

  • Helpful teacher guides are included with each unit (sample in the preview file) explaining how to use the course resources.

  • The course can be completed using web resources or using your own traditional textbook (Spotlight Canada).

  • Each unit is thematically organized into a series of activities packages. Over 130 pages of activities! They are visually appealing, organized and are proven to help students learn.

  • The best map animation website, the-map-as-history.com, is used as a resource especially for WW I and WW II. A reasonable subscription is required from "the-map-as-history.com", but this is a must-have resource for any school. The website can also be used for many other history courses (Talk with Caroline for a custom subscription - more cost-effective). Alternatively, these select activities can be completed as oral lectures or as web quests.

  • 25 + Dynamic Powerpoint lectures work along with the activities packages. These are also very engaging and clearly organized.

  • Within each unit you will also find creative projects that are designed based upon differentiation and project based learning (PBL). In addition, there are traditional essay options (essay organizer included).

  • Creative activities that use Smartphones, Twitter templates, station activities using primary resources, active games and more.

  • Access to review quizzes through "Class Flow." Detailed instructions provided.

  • There are two tests (WW I and WW II) with answer keys.

  • An exam review sheet, review activities, final exam and answer key is included to make the last stage of the course easy for teacher and student.

  • 12 generic files that can be used in any course! (Eg. research template, article analysis template, printable facebook profile, primary vs. secondary resource analysis etc).

Download the zipped preview file to look at examples from the course!

  • Several new "Virtual Museum" station activities that incorporate lots of movement around the classroom!
  • Free access to interactive online knowledge tests through ClassFlow! This allows students to complete review or knowledge tests directly on their phone. The teacher can watch on his/her computer in real time! Less marking! See the description sheet in the preview folder.
