Career Exploration Elementary Gr. 3-5

This elementary career unit consists of 5 complete lessons with lesson plans! No prep needed! Just print and implement; or upload the PDF to Google Drive.

Elementary students (geared for grades 3-5) will engage in webquest activities to examine their interests, their skills, and matching careers. Using a variety of online activities and online assessments, they will choose careers to research that align with their skills and interests. Students will share their research to attain a better understanding of a variety of careers and the corresponding skills.

Students will need internet access. In this webquest activity, students will have access to a large number of short, career video clips. So, while headphones are not necessary, they may be preferred in a classroom setting.

This unit makes a perfect addition to the beginning of year activities, end of year activities, or resource room activities throughout the year. It is a great fit to facilitate your students’ achievement of their grade level standards for Career Exploration and Acquisition.
