What educators are saying
This worked well as a station activity to work through the events leading to the Russian Revolution.
This lesson is very straightforward and required very little prep. I had students work in stations and gave them 5 minutes at each station. Most students were engage, but like anything else these days, there were a few who decided not to be engaged. Great lesson plan!
Description
The purpose of this activity is for students to analyze the causes and effects of the Russian Revolution. It can be completed in collaborative groups or individually. Students read and discuss several short passages related to the causes and effects of the Russian Revolution. In addition to "textbook" information, they will analyze several primary sources, including quotes, letters, telegrams and treaties. Students then answer comprehension and analysis questions on a three-page graphic organizer.
