I did this activity with my students right before Christmas break. We had an ugly sweater day at my school and thought this would be a great activity to do. We are in the process of learning fractions, so this was a great activity to reinforce that.
Description
Christmas Fractions Activity with Ugly Christmas Sweaters! Let your kids think they are getting a coloring break when they are really working on EQUIVALENT FRACTIONS and SIMPLIFYING FRACTIONS! Hehe! :)
Two coloring pages with answer sheets included
* Santa ugly sweater
* Reindeer ugly sweater
(Santa Clause & Reindeer). Students will find the equivalent fractions and color them in according to the code at the bottom of the page!
