Chrome Music Lab: Song Maker Remixes (Great for No Prep/ Asynchronous/ Sub Plan)

This is a student-favourite activity that can be adapted to virtual or in-person learning models. This is really a true no-prep lesson for your class- excellent for a sub plan or asynchronous work as well.

Students will use templates of popular and well-known songs in Chrome Song Maker to create a unique remix of their own! There are 20 songs to choose from, of different levels. Includes PDF and Word format (fully editable).

Portions of each melody are already input into the Song Maker and ready to mix!

This lesson can be adapted to grades 2-8 and even beyond if you want to include some theory exploration of chord progressions or accompaniment lines... song maker is a very powerful tool!
