What educators are saying

It was a great resource for helping the students to understand that we practice being good citizens in the classroom every day. They found it easy to complete.
My students love these cutting and gluing sorting activities. This was a great way to review our citizenship unit!

Description

I created this activity for my students to use in the Fall / Beginning of the Year to use in teaching the Social Studies Citizenship unit. The students will read each sentence and decide if the scenario shows an example of being a good citizen or not. This can be used in the beginning of the year to reinforce rules and character traits/virtues as well. I plan to use this as an independent activity after a couple days of teaching citizenship. It can also be used for a grade/assessment/quiz, or an activity to immediately follow a rules or citizenship minilesson. Also check out my Good Citizen or Not sorting center, as well as my other citizenship and respect activities. :) Enjoy!
