Description
In this fun game, students race against their opponent to complete a set of classifying polynomials problems. Each student has a set of the same problems, while they share one writing utensil. Players take turns completing problems and rolling a die. One player completes as many problems as they can before their opponent rolls a one and wins the pencil. Play continues until one player completes all of the problems on his/her sheet.
There are two game versions included. One has a polynomial written in standard form and students classify it. The other one requires students to write the polynomial in standard form before they begin the game; this more complex version requires them to add, subtract and multiply polynomials.
Problems include monomials, binomials and trinomials with degrees up through 5 (quintic). This game is a great way to review and practice classifying polynomials.
Includes 2 versions and an answer key.
