Cluichí Briathra - Games to make learning Irish grammar fun!
This resource incudes five sets of game cards which can be used to play a number of fun and interactive games including Briathra Snap, Spúnóga Briathra and Matching Games. Instructions on how to play are included in the resource! Link verbs across the tenses. Each game consists of 44-48 game cards with cards matching across the Aimsir Chaite, Aimsir Láithreach, Aimsir Fháistineach and cártaí pictiúr.

- Briathra Dhá Shiolla 2
Use this resource to:
- Play matching games to match across the tenses (Chuir mé, Cuirim, Cuirfidh mé, Pictiúr)
- Play timed matching games in pairs.
- Name the missing card game
- Play Briathra Snap! As there are a similar number of cards to a traditional deck of cards the game cards can be used to play Briathra Snap.
- Spúnóg Briathra - Spoons is a fantastic game where chidlren aim to collect four matching cards. So much fun!
- Word lists are included for each game also. Use these to help children learn the verbs and as a scaffold during the games.
- Fun and engaging learning to make learning Irish grammar enjoyable and interactive for the children.

These games are most suitable for children in 5th and 6th class where children are asked to learn all three tenses at once. The games would also be suitable for 1st and 2nd year as revision grammar games.
