Description
A great way to practice writing in written English from ASL sentence structure. Each color code cards represents different part of speech. Total of 300 plus cards
Included in this set are 5 basic sentence structure visual cues pages. (Keep in mind this is very basic structure sentences, you will have to explain the conjunction, the ending i.e. ing, ed, s etc, preposition and so forth) This is a great way for student to visualize how ASL sign sentence can change into Written English using the appropriate basic structure.
I included the gray cards that represents preposition that you can use as a teaching tool to demonstrate where to put in the basic sentence.
Orange cards- article/pronouns
Blue cards- adjectives
Purple Cards- Verbs (with adverb and helping verb label in each card)
Red Cards- Nouns
Pink Cards- Ending punctuation
Student will pick the color codes cards in piles, in that order using ASL sentence first to create their own sentence that they sign. Once they pick their cards from the ASL sentence then they put the cards down to the English word order and then add the article/pronouns, endings, and other verbs that they need to create their written English sentence. Students can create tons of different sentences and practicing ASL structure then switch to Written English sentence structure. Students can write the sentence with the worksheets provided in this set.
